It is safe to say that businessmen and online entrepreneurs are the clients of social media outsourcing firms. They are the ones who have extreme need of assistance in managing and running their multiple social media accounts, plus they have money and can afford to pay for the services of an offshore or outsourcing company.
Now when businesses advertise their products or services, they always use visual media like posters and television advertisements. These are necessary because consumers are visual audiences, as numerous studies had proven. Notice that a lot of people have limited patience when sales representatives draw out their pitches. By providing visual elements, consumers are more likely to remember the product or service being advertised.
Social Media Outsourcing's Task: Branding through Images
Famous manufacturing companies and luxury brands have logos that people remember and easily recognize. Such is the effectiveness of visual media that businesses make money from their logos alone. Luxury clothing brands have expanded from clothing to bags, shoes, belts, leather cases for gadgets, etc… They manufacture special edition items and brand them with their logo, and they sell like pancakes (although the price is in no way by penny denomination).
This is what social media outsourcing companies aim for their clients. At the very least, they aim to make their clients’ logos recognizable among their target market. This is where visual content comes in, specifically a logo or trademark image that represents the business or company of the client.
Going Viral through Visual Media
Part of the tasks of social media outsourcing is to generate posts that will hopefully go viral or at least spread widely, laterally, across social media platforms. Images and videos are the two most-shared types of content in social media, which means that visual content become viral more often than not. So aside from blog post links, brief messages and general daily shout-outs to the public, your social media outsourcing team should also do.
Image content is just as important as text content in social media marketing, if not more so. Social media users don't always have time or patience to read very lengthy posts. That's why they appreciate announcements made into posters more than plain text posts. These images also get shared faster and on wider circles than plain text posts.
If you have important announcements to make, like a product launch or a season promo, make an attractive poster and post the image on your wall. If text content is necessary, it should include a photo that encompasses the general idea of the post. Just look at lengthy Facebook posts that encourage people to participate in charitable works. They usually come with a single, very touching image that clenches the heart and provokes people into action.
Pictures Speak a Thousand Words
This saying is proven over and over again in social media marketing. Visual media can convince potential customers to jump into the conversion funnel and make their purchases. This is why Pinterest is so popular among merchants and social media outsourcing companies. So if you want your social media campaigns to be successful, you must have eye-catching visual materials to share to customers and audiences.
